FIU One Card Operations

The FIU One Card office is operating remotely until further notice. You can contact us at 305-348-2273 or e-mail us at onecard@fiu.edu.   Our staff will walk you through what is needed to obtain a new or duplicate ID card. Specific instructions on how to pick up your card will be explained by our staff.

FIU Cash

Your FIU Cash account is safe while you take your classes remotely.  FIU cash does not expire as long as you are an active student or have been one within the past 12 months.

Meal Plan information

If you are living on campus you can use your meal plan at 8thSt Campus Kitchen for take-out service or at Roary’s Bay Café at BBC.  You can use Dining Dollars at 8th St. Kitchen, Roary’s and The Market at Breezeway.  If you are not currently living on campus and have a meal plan, please be advised that we are currently working with our dining partner Chartwells and the State of Florida University system to determine potential credits and refunds for all on campus pre-paid services.  Please look out for a future communication or check back with our website.

Grubhub Delivery

As registered campus diner, FIU students can enjoy FREE delivery and 10% cash back for a year on all Grubhub food delivery.  Although the on-campus restaurants are closed, there are others off-campus that remain available on Grubhub.

To get started:

  2. Head to My Grubhub > Settings > Campus Dining
  3. Affiliate with FIU and add your information
  4. Join GH+ (you’ll be sent instructions on how to join!)

Panther Tech

Due to the University’s preparations in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Panther Tech has modified store hours and adjusted their pick-up methods. FIU Panther TECH is committed to being there for our FIU community. You can still shop for any of your tech needs by shopping online, calling 305.348.8324, or by sending an email to panthertech@fiu.edu.  For more information on Panther Tech’s current merchandise pickup method, click here.  

Spring 2020 Graduation Products

As FIU will no longer be hosting any in-person ceremonies for this Spring semester, Herff Jones has established an online store for those who would like to purchase regalia and/or a class ring and is offering free shipping on regalia within the United States to personal or business addresses. This option is available to all FIU students who still wish to order their grad gear.

Please note: Due to COVID-19, the state of Illinois has ordered all non-essential businesses to close through April 7, 2020. This affects the Herff Jones cap and gown manufacturing plants. Their plants will resume operations on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Any orders placed will ship after April 8, 2020.

How do I return textbooks I rented at the beginning of the spring semester?
Students that need to return their textbook rentals can do so by printing a free UPS shipping label.

You will need your order number and bookstore account email address. This information can be found in the email you received when the rental transaction was made (in store or online). One free shipping label per rental order/transaction will be provided.  Thus, if you rented three books under one order/transaction, all three books should be shipped in one package to take advantage of the free UPS shipping.

The due date for rental books is April 25th.  Students have until this day to access the free shipping label.  To access this label, click here .

Where can I use my FIU Cash or Book Advance rollover funds?

Barnes and Noble is not open for walk in business, but FIU cash can be used to purchase online, including course materials for upcoming semesters.

Panther Tech accept FIU Cash in person or by phone.

All Campus vending machines, including Pharmabox, accept FIU Cash.

Can I get a refund on my FIU Cash?
Please be advised, FIU Cash does not expire as long as you are an enrolled student.   You can use it or leave it in your account for when on campus classes resume.
