The responsibility for Toshiba print and copier services has been transferred to the FIU Office of the Controller as of June 13, 2016.  The Office of Business Services will no longer oversee the Toshiba contract for departmental services, but retains oversight of Ricoh retail and student services.  For further information concerning Toshiba, please contact Danyade Alfonso at 7-2172 or  

FIU has partnered with Toshiba Business Solutions to offer leases for departmental print and copier equipment and service.   Most equipment leases offer the following standard features:

  • Reversing auto document feeder
  • Double-sided (duplex) printing/copying/scanning
  • Stapling
  • Scan-to-email and USB drive

To increase functionality, the following accessories can be added:

  • Fax
  • 2 hole punch
  • Large Capacity Paper Drawer
  • Booklet Maker

Toshiba will work with departments to provide the equipment that works best for their requirements.

Maintenance is included with equipment rates. Maintenance plans include preventative maintenance, repair services, parts, labor, and all consumables including toner and staples at no additional cost to Departments. Paper is not included.
