The impact of sub-contracting Vehicle Services is substantial and will positively impact the University in various areas including:  

Increased Service Quality

  • Automated PM scheduling and notification process will ensure a high rate of vehicle user compliance
  • Users will have access to the vendor’s website where they can view the status of their vehicle
  • Emergency road services will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Regular fleet liaison meetings will be held to discuss fleet status, data reports and users’ needs, along with critique cards and bi-annual online customer service surveys

Increased Efficiencies

  • Quicker turnaround time for work orders
  • FVS will incur utility expenses for the shop space reducing operational expenses for the University
